We go back to the year 2013 to the 6th of May, the start of our big journey. Daniel and me were excited and curious about what will happen. We organised the flights from Berlin via Abu Dhabi to Bangkok and our first overnight stay in Bangkok. Our backpacks were ready - and we were, too.
The flight went on amazingly well, with the city liner we reached our simple hotel, got something small to eat and went to bed. I couldn't sleep at all because of so much emotion. It was 4 AM, 29 degrees outside and high humidity. The heat was crazy although the AC was on. The smog made it even worse. I could hear the horrible traffic outside. Blaring horns and speeder everywhere.
The plan for the next morning was to go to the central station, buy tickets and take the train to Chumphon. The route from Bangkok to Chumphon is along the coast and takes about 8 hours. The train runs every hour. The day after tomorrow we planned to take the ferry from Chumphon to Koh Tao at 7 AM. Koh Tao is the smallest of the three islands Koh Phangan and Koh Samui.
Beforehand in Germany I made a photo course, I was excited to apply the new skills. And we just knew that our adventure journey was the perfect opportunity to get some really great pictures.
